Marble Falls Area EMS enjoys full-time medical direction under the license of Dr. Jeffrey Jarvis. Off-line Medical Direction through our Scope of Care provides our employees the autonomy to give our patients high quality care to the residents of the Highland Lakes.
Our service is proud to be a training site for for several pre-hospital education facilities. With the aid of frequent training, and evolving technology, our employees are dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible to the residents of the Highland Lakes area.
Marble Falls Area EMS employs both full-time and part-time employees that jointly respond with the integral help of area Fire Departments. Currently, we have six MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) capable ambulances and two SUV first responders which collectively respond to nearly 3600 calls for service per year. These units are housed at stations in Marble Falls, Granite Shoals, and Horseshoe Bay.
For special events such as Lakefest, HITS Triathalon, Childrens day, and many more, we staff all of our units to accommodate higher call volume.
